So a new customer calls us up the other day and asks me to price out some real-estate type signs to promote his pizza place. I go by there and talk with him for a bit and notice he has a great looking logo for some place out in the middle of nowhere. Then I heard that it was done by the cop that owns one of the other sign shops in town. This gets me thinking, so I whip out the phone, do a quick google image search using the vague terms of “Dragon Logo” and this guys exact logo comes up on the FIRST PAGE. Turns out sleazeball graphics charged him $200 or so to design a custom logo, then just stole the Dayton Dragons baseball team logo and slapped it on his stuff. Heck, they didn’t even bother to change the fonts or colors.

He got me to redesign his signs, cards and shirts for him after he freaked out about having paid for a plagiarized logo. He requested I keep it similar to what he had, so I sketched up a new dragon and made a custom font that could still utilize the dragon tail in the S. Mine might not look as good, but I didn’t have to rip off a top ad agency’s sports team logo to make it.

Oh, and here’s some more “original work” from Sleazeball Graphics

I guess Batman managed to convince Superman to go wash his Batmobile.
